Who Must Get Certified?
Pennsylvania law requires these persons to successfully complete an approved boating safety course before operating on Pennsylvania waters:
• All operators of personal watercraft (such as Jet Skis®, Sea Doos®, etc.)
• All persons born on or after January 1, 1982 operating any boat with a motor of over 25 horsepower. http://www.boat-ed.com/pa/
